Episode Overview

News spreads that Kanda, a Diet member opposed to magic, is set to visit First High School accompanied by the media to investigate the curriculum, after hearing unsettling rumors. He intends to stir controversy by claiming the school is indoctrinating students for military purposes if he uncovers anything questionable. In response, Tatsuya proposes they conduct an experiment to showcase the students' ability to develop a Sustained Gravity Control-Type Magic Thermonuclear Fusion Reactor, also known as a Stellar Furnace. The students aim to demonstrate that their magical education can address energy challenges and contribute positively to global peace, depending on how magic is applied.
