Richard E. Grant's Very Modern Odyssey (2026)

Episode Overview

On the sun-drenched island of Corfu, Richard uncovers the turbulent history of the Greeks who once fought to keep it. He then prepares a midday meal for Lee Durrell, the widow of renowned conservationist Gerald Durrell, whose beloved memoir *My Family and Other Animals* sprang from these very shores. Sharpening his aim with a bow and arrow, Richard takes a few practice shots before setting sail for Ithaca, the legendary homeland of Odysseus, where myth and reality beautifully intertwine.
