Grand Designs Australia (2010)

Episode Overview

Kerry and Judy, enthusiastic collectors, are drawn to the charm of Santa Fe-style mud houses, despite residing on a sloped bush block in Sydney's north shore. Motivated by a quirky builder known for frequently altering plans, they embark on a project to construct a home using reclaimed timber and corrugated iron, along with clay sourced from the roadside. While the design may echo the American Midwest, this unique dwelling will embody a distinctly Australian essence, offering a rustic setting for their extensive collection of artistic pieces, artifacts, and various treasures.
