When Conan finally meets Ram-Amon to talk about the Amulet of Vathelos, he learns the artifact must be recharged using Set’s own dark magic from the Abyss. But before they can act, Conan and Jasmine find themselves cornered by a pack of hostile Serpent-Men. To make matters worse, their star-metal weapons prove completely useless against the creatures.
