Conan and his companions travel to the enchanted city of Xantos, seeking aid for his parents. There they encounter Greywolf, a young magician, along with his brother and sister. A sorceress named Mesmira, visiting from Stygia, also arrives. But she soon reveals her true, sinister intentions.
