The rain fell heavily over Sayaka's funeral. Madoka came home with hollow, empty eyes. She hardly spoke a word to Junko, who was waiting at the door, and quietly retreated to her room. There, alone with her sorrow, she found Kyubey appearing before her as she sat consumed by grief.
