An urgent alert rings out: "Life-threatening damage detected!" Neutrophil races toward the explosion site, only to discover that the blood cells he's meant to guard have vanished. Heavy bleeding has swept countless cells out through the wound, and the flow shows no sign of stopping. As the crisis deepens by the second, Red Blood Cell pushes on with Li'l Kouhai Red Blood Cell, determined to keep delivering oxygen and protect their world and her friends. Their world teeters on the edge of collapse... What fate awaits the cells?
