Once a serene chapel of a 19th-century convent, this unique venue has been serving budget-friendly roast dinners for two decades, but it’s now in desperate need of a miracle. Owner Scott, a former IT consultant, invested £300,000, yet with an aging customer base dining at half price, he’s racking up losses of £5,000 weekly. Despite the picturesque surroundings, the food is subpar, featuring recycled meat, bucketed soup, and artificial sauces, compounded by a lackadaisical head chef overseeing dirty ovens and unmotivated staff.
