Garfield is horrified to discover that the network has dubbed a canned laugh track over his show, ruining his signature deadpan style. Every time he delivers a dry remark or takes a tumble, the fake audience erupts in giggles, driving him up the wall. Frustrated and humiliated, he schemes to get rid of the intrusive laughter, determined to restore the show's original, laugh-free tone.
