Laura is preparing for a job interview, much to Helen's discontent. She's anxious about the possibility of Laura accepting the position and resigning. Meanwhile, Gordon is preoccupied with arrangements for a baptism service at the church. A customer struggles to get a cup of coffee, facing one issue after another. Colin, feeling out of sorts, inadvertently causes chaos by electrocuting the church congregation. Afterward, Colin faces his consequences while Carole loses her job, leaving everyone frustrated with Gordon. Just when tensions are high, Laura returns with unexpected news.
