Nick Fallin, a successful and affluent attorney, faces a harsh reality when his lavish lifestyle catches up with him. After being arrested for drug possession, he is sentenced to complete 1,500 hours of community service. Balancing his high-stakes legal career with the demands of child advocacy, he starts working with Children's Legal Services under the watchful eye of Alvin Masterson. Here, he meets Hunter Reed, a young boy traumatized by the murder of his mother at the hands of his father. Meanwhile, at Fallin & Associates, Nick’s father, Burton Fallin, is busy negotiating with company executives looking to expand into Pittsburgh and managing entitled tech entrepreneurs eager to strike it rich.
