Sesame Street (1969)

Episode Overview

Bob greets the viewers, but his hello is nearly drowned out by the sudden roar of jackhammers and compressors on Sesame Street. Maria and Tom arrive to find workmen repairing the road and grumble about the racket. Then Oscar pops up, sporting a hard hat, and announces he’s off to the digging site—he wouldn’t dream of missing all the noise, dirt, and chaos.
