Episode Overview

In a secluded mining site in northern Sweden, Lars Ruud oversees the construction of a massive nuclear waste repository. The project faces significant delays, and activists are fiercely opposing its launch. One fateful night, guard Oskar shoots an intruder, leading to a catastrophic explosion that claims the lives of three team members. Helen, Lars' trusted colleague, survives but is left with fragmented memories of the event. As Lars returns to the mine, he uncovers unsettling secrets.
