Grand Designs: House of the Year (2015)

Episode Overview

Kevin McCloud, alongside architect Damion Burrows and magazine editor Michelle Ogundehin, explores remarkable homes across the countryside. They visit an opulent treehouse in Dorset, showcasing the beauty of wood, and an impressive cantilevered concrete residence on the Isle of Purbeck, featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Additionally, they examine a striking property made up of zinc-clad structures mimicking traditional Scottish farm buildings, as well as a beautifully restored 17th-century barn in Devon designed for contemporary living. The big question remains: which homes will make the shortlist for the Royal Institute of British Architects House of the Year 2017?
