Wildest Places (2019)

Episode Overview

The bush—Australia’s colloquial name for its dry forests—sprawls across nearly a fifth of the continent, with dense pockets hugging the east coast and scattered patches in the southwest and far north. These sunbaked woodlands are the heartland of the country’s most iconic residents: marsupials. From bounding kangaroos to elusive possums, these mammals reign supreme in a landscape that’s unmistakably Australian, shaped by eucalyptus and tough scrub.
