Plot

Shelley Beattie, a Deaf bodybuilding champion, rose to fame in the 1990s as "Siren" on the popular TV series American Gladiators, before her tragic passing in 2008. Though magnetic, stunning, and a relentless competitor, Beattie privately struggled with mental illness, addiction, and her own sense of self. Told through the perspective of fellow Deaf Hollywood star and Oscar winner Marlee Matlin, who also navigated fame during that era, the documentary explores Shelley "Siren" Beattie's life and her layered legacy, intertwined with beauty, mental health, and love.
