Road to Life (1955)
Plot
In 1920, amidst the turmoil of Poltava, Ukraine, a pioneering Soviet experiment took root: the nation's inaugural colony for homeless street boys. This is the tale of those defiant youths, a band of wild, untamed spirits. Their story unfolds through the colony's director, a man who believed in a radical path to redemption. Rather than imposing strict discipline, he chose to entrust them with the keys to their own governance, betting that self-rule could transform their rebellion into responsibility.
